Nowadays, harem anime has become mainstream, resulting in many uninteresting titles populating the genre. However, among those titles, Infinite Stratos is a series that is occasionally somewhat enjoyable than ordinary. What separates Infinite Stratos from others like it is that it still gives you a mecha bonus, which is fantastic if you take out the series’ harem elements.

Infinite Stratos is a mecha harem anime series animated by studio Eight Bit. The anime is an adaptation of light novel series written by Izuru Yumizuru.
Synopsis: Infinite Stratos (IS) are exoskeleton weapons that only a woman can operate. The combat ability and power of an IS is so tremendous that the world government has banned its use for military purpose. Ichika Orimura is a teenager and the only male capable of operating an IS.
Upon learning about his ability, the government made him join the all-female Infinite Stratos Academy, which teaches its students to pilot IS. Upon arriving at the academy, Orimura meets his childhood friend and roommate Houki Shinonono. Being the only male in school is about to get him into many problems.
