The term called underrated anime is not foreign to any fan of anime and manga. The dictionary defines underrated as “something that is unrecognized or has unestablished value.” While that vague definition is true for any underrated series, many anime watcher’s grasps of underrated anime are similar to that of classics. Many frown on it, very less embrace it as intensely.
While underrated anime shows deserve more viewers, but which anime is underrated is a question that usually falls into speculation. The question likely isn’t that helpful because the value of an anime changes depending on the popularity of genre, release time, and interests or isn’t well known by today’s anime standards.
Some underrated anime date back decades and still have barely been recognized because of either older animation style, dense narrative, or the viewer’s taste. If you’re looking for an underrated anime to watch that is actually good, worry not. Here’s the list of best-underrated anime you should watch right now.
