Synopsis: Madoka Kaname is an average fourteen-year-old high school girl who saw a strange dream about a strange girl, a cat-like being, and a gigantic creature one day. The next day, she wakes up and finds out that the girl in her dream is Homura Akemi, a new transfer student at her school. The same day, after school, Madoka and her friend Sayaka encounter Kyubey, a strange cat-like magical creature.
Kyubey offers them a contract in which they may have any wish granted in exchange for fighting witches by becoming magical girls. They decided to accept his offer and become magical girls. However, Madoka soon realizes the life of a magical girl is filled with danger, agony, and suffering.
