Date A Live Watch Order Guide

Date A Live may look like just another cliche harem anime which is true at some point, but it is also an excellent parody anime of the Mecha genre with the notable example being Neon Genesis Evangelion. Date A Live uses the overused plot of a mecha anime where some invading force comes to to earth destroy it. But in the case Date A Live, the invaders are cute girls, and the way to defeat them is by making them fall in love with the main character. Now this concept is unique and never seen before, plus there is a reasonable amount of fan service for ecchi fans.

The show focuses on love comedy, but it also has some action-packed fights and sometimes the scenes can be a little dark. The colour palette used for the character designs are pretty awesome looking. While watching, you might notice a sense of characters being colour coded, which is not bad as it psychologically helps out fans to get attached to characters in harem anime. Date A Live is certainly not the best anime out there, but its absurd storyline makes the anime genuinely enjoyable even if you are not a fan of harem or ecchi in general.
