Full Metal Panic! is an action-comedy anime series directed by Kouichi Chigira and produced by studio Gonzo. The anime is an adaptation of a light novel series written by Shoji Gatoh and illustrated by Shiki Douji.

Synopsis: Mithril is a private military organization equipped with cutting edge technology. The goal of Mithril is to wipe out terrorism with support from highly intelligent individuals capable of creating powerful devices and machinery. Sousuke Sagara is a teenager working as a sergeant for Mithril, who is assigned to protect Kaname Chidori.

Kaname is a potential suitable candate who can contribute for the future of Mithril. Sousuke has to be always near her to prevent her from falling into enemy hands. The only way he can do that is to join the same school as Chidori. But highschool life is not easy for a military-trained soldier while ensuring not to reveal his true identity. Sousuke has to now adapt to normal school life to guard Kaname against enemy forces lurking in shadows.
