Code Geass is deemed as one of the best inspiring and thought-provoking series that isn’t unafraid of using war crime and extreme violence to highlight themes. The entire approach with Code Geass is very intriguing and has numerous profound themes that complement the show’s sinister atmosphere.

Code Geass is a series that should be great on the premise alone. But what raised the stakes significantly for the show. Is the way it sophistically deals with many political and social issues, with the most prominent being war, discrimination, and point of redemption. Also, despite the large and cluttered cast, anime playoffs each character quite wonderfully.

Code Geass’s universe spans out into two anime seasons, eight movies out of which five movies are spinoff in the same universe. So it might be confusing for first-time viewers. If you are planning to watch Code Geass, then watch it according to this order.

Note: The following three movies, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – Initiation, Transgression, Glorification, are a recap of the first two seasons of the anime. However, the movies have a significant change in the plot and have a different storyline than the first two anime seasons.
