The combined 21st and 22nd issue of Weekly Young Jump manga magazine and the official website of the upcoming anime adaptation of Akki Sarumi’s Rifle is Beautiful manga revealed a new key visual, voice cast and the staff members.

Cast
The main cast members include Machico as Hikari Kokura, Akane Kumada as Izimi Shibusawa, Saki Minami as Erika Meinohama and Anna Yamaki as Yukio Igarashi. The four main cast members also formed an idol unit related to the series called “Rifling 4.”
Staff
Masanori Takahashi is directing the series with Tatsuya Takahashi handling the series’s scripts and composition. Ken Mukaigawara is in charge of character design and is serving as the chief animation director. Studio 3Hz is producing the series.
Story
The story follows Hikari Kokura, a young lady with a passion for marksmanship sports who enrolls in Chidori High School in order to join the rifle-shooting club. However, Hikari soon learns that the club is about to be shut down due to lack of members, so she has to rush to recruit four other people to keep the club afloat. Later, the girls take aim at rifle-shooting championships.
Background
Rifle is Beautiful is a four-panel manga series by Akki Sarumi. Shueisha started serilizing the manga on thier Tonari no Young Jump website since April 2015. The manga is been compiled into four tankōbon volumes.
