On Saturday, a new promotional video was unveiled for the anime film Rascal Does Not Dream of Dreaming Girl the Movie. The film features the sixth and seventh volumes of Hajime Kamoshida’s Seishun Buta Yarō light novel series. The official site for the anime film also revealed a third special visual with Shōko and Mai poking Sakuta snowman. The film will premiere in Japan on June 15.
All the staff and cast are returning with the film being directed by Sōichi Masui and Masahiro Yokotani handling the scriptwriting at Studio CloverWorks. Satomi Tamura is again in charge of character designs and fox capture plan is composing the music.
The story of the film involves the daily life of Sakuta Azusagawa, whose relationship with Mai Sakurajima is on the rocks after circumstances force him to live with the “adult” version of Shoko. Meanwhile, the “junior high school” version of Shoko is suffering from a mysterious illness, and Sakuta’s scars begin to ache…
Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai a light novel series written by Hajime Kamoshida. Since April 2014, the light novel has been published into nine volumes by ASCII Media Works under their Dengeki Bunko imprint. It also has been adapted into manga with art by Tsugumi Nanamiya. A 13 episodes TV anime television was adapted by CloverWorks which premiered on 4 Oct 2018.
