Haiyore! Nyaruko-san is a parody anime, which is also its main selling point. Because, it lacks a coherent plot that people could follow, which, though slightly disappointing, is not a significant drawback. And as a “parody” anime, Haiyore! Nyaruko-san has done an outstanding job of incorporating humor and sometimes even some dramatic moments.
Character development in the anime is almost non-existential. Also, the art is a little plain and stereotypical. Still, in particular, one that stands out is its slapstick comedy, which adds a much needed and required contrast to the show. There are a few flaws here and there, but it is still a solid show, and you won’t be disappointed.

Haiyore! Nyaruko-san is a romantic comedy parody anime by Studio Xebec. The anime is an adaptation of the Japanese light novel series by Manta Aisora.
Synopsis: Mahiro Sayaka is a normal high school boy who was suddenly attacked by an extraterrestrial being one day. However, when he was about to be killed, a strange girl named Nyaruko saves him. She explains herself as Nyarlotephian, a race of alien from H. P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos.
Nyaruko tells Mahiro that she’s sent by the Space Defense Agency on Earth to protect him. After rescuing him, she inexplicably fell in love with him, which she claims that it was love at first sight. Nyaruko then decides to live with him to protect him while getting closer to him.
