Strike Witches is a sci-fi military anime by Studio Gonzo. The anime is an adaptation of the Strike Witches franchise created by Fumikane Shimada.
Synopsis: In the year 1939 – the world has been invaded by a mysterious alien force known as the Neuroi, who started attacking humanity. Humanity develops a new anti-Neuroi weapon called the “Striker Unit,” enhancing and amplifying wielders’ power to fight against them.
Also, to operate these anti-Neuroi weapons, young girls from all over the world have been brought together, and an elite task force unit known as the “Strike Witches” is formed. The anime follows Yoshika Miyafuji, who also joins the elite task force unit to fight and defeat the Neuroi and protect the world.
