Synopsis: Mikado Ryuugamine is a naive young boy who always wanted to see something abnormal and supernatural. After a suggestion from his childhood friend, Mikado decides to move to Ikebukuro. But Mikado was not expecting to see so many abnormalities in Ikebukuro that made him wonders about his decision about moving there.
Ikebukuro is a place for many strange residents. One of them is Shizuo Heiwajima, a man dressed like a bartender who has monster-like strength and is known for tosing around a massive chunk of an object at other poeple. Then there is Izaya Orihara, a data broker with a vicious personality. But the strangest thing in Ikebukuro is the headless Black Rider, a modern Dullahan who rides through the city in the night.
