It’s a series you will either love it or hate it, as it is very reminiscent of many anime out there in thematic significance. The Irregular at Magic High School is an action fantasy anime by Studio Madhouse. The anime is an adaptation of the Japanese web novel series by Tsutomu Satou.
Synopsis: In the distant future, magic exists as a systematized modern technology, and the ability to use supernatural power is determined by genetics. First High is a school that trains these supernatural power users. However, the school segregates its students into two-course groups; First Course called “Blooms,” class of prodigy, and Second Course called “Weeds” for those who are average.
Siblings Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba are just about to start their first year at the First High. However, because of the school’s law, the flawless Miyuki enters the First Course. At the same time, her older brother, Tatsuya, joins Second Course causing people to view him as irregular. But Tatsuya is more than what meets the eyes.
