Girls und Panzer is an action-comedy anime by Studio Actas. The anime is an adaptation of a Japanese light novel series by Yuu Hibiki.
Synopsis: Girls und Panzer is set in an alternate world where girls and women practice “Sensha-do” – the art of fighting tanks, or tankery. Sensha-do sport is considered as a traditional Japanese martial art for girls. Miho Nishizumi is a girl from a prestigious family of sensha-do professionals.
She decides to attend Orai Girl’s High School to get away from sensha-do due to a tragic past. However, shortly after her arrival Miho is coerced into unwillingly joining sensha-do by the student council. She soon finds that her past has followed her to her new school. Now she must operate, and battle with all kinds of WWII tanks against other tanking schools to save her school from closing.
